Dammam, KSA. April 17 – Al Majdouie Automotive Co, Distributor for Hyundai in the Eastern region of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in partnership with Hyundai Motor Company announced the beginning of the last phase of “Mobility for Food Bank” initiative with The Saudi Food Bank (Etaam), to deliver food packages to recipients in the Eastern area in The Kingdom, in partnership with Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University in Dammam, The initiative is a continuous campaign that began in the month of Ramadan.
Marking the beginning of this partnership in charity, an official campaign launch event was held in Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, the event started with a memorandum of understanding signing by Mr. Ali Al Muraisel, Chief Services Officer, Al Majdouie Automotive Company & Professor Fatima Melhim Dean of Student Affairs at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, the signing ceremony was followed by the main launch event, with speeches for representatives of Hyundai Motor/Al Majdouie Automotive Co & Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, the event concluded with the commencement of the food package preparation by volunteering students of the University.

This agreement is part of an initiative that underscores Al Majdouie Hyundai’s social responsibility as a mobility and sustainability solution provider, the Hyundai distributor in KSA’s Eastern Region will be in partnership with The Saudi Food Bank (Etaam), reputable NGO dedicated to humanitarian work in the Kingdom, where Hyundai Motor Company and Al Majdouie will donate Hyundai Staria Vehicles and the content of 500 food packages to the Saudi Food Bank, and with volunteer students from Universities assisting in the food packaging, the campaign aims reach beneficiaries facing economic hardships in urban and rural areas in KSA.

By utilizing our mobility solutions to create a spirit of unity and solidarity, we can give back to the people during the month of giving.”


On their part, The Saudi Food bank expressed keenness to enhance cooperation with strategic partners in implementing charitable and humanitarian initiatives, represented in the “Hyundai Continue” charity campaign, within the framework of its social role and responsibility towards society, and based on its belief in the importance of works that would provide necessary assistance to target groups of low-income families, orphans and widows, with the aim of improving their living conditions, especially in the holy month of Ramadan, ensuring food security and meets their needs throughout the year, noting that all charitable initiatives reflect the noble human meanings, spread the values of goodness, and embody the spirit of love, It also urges them to build a solid bridge with the needy and extend a helping hand.
